Designed for new patients recovering from cosmetic or reconstructive surgery who would like individualized post-operative support. Your initial evaluation includes an assessment of your swelling, tissue healing, mobility, and current stage of recovery, followed by a treatment tailored to your needs. Treatment will include primarily manual lymphatic drainage (MLD), gentle tissue techniques, compression guidance, kinesiology taping when appropriate, fibrosis treatment as needed, mobility or therapeutic exercise, and education for managing your recovery at home.
At the end of your visit, we’ll discuss whether additional treatment may be beneficial and what level of follow-up care is appropriate for your recovery.
